Q. what is the meaning behind the organisations name?

A. Homeland Ghana refers to the idea that we all come from somewhere and this is important to know because its impact is twofold; it informs us about the way we should live our lives and ever so often, the responsibility we have towards our own people.

 

Q. what does homeland ghana do?

A. Homeland Ghana is a Non-Profit Organisation with a commitment to learning, education and social development in the Upper East region of Ghana, West Africa. The main focus of our work has been to help improve the standards of education of pupils in communities with some of the lowest educational attainment figures in Ghana. We do so by connecting and supporting local organisations, individuals and educators that can help us create positive changes in these communities.
